FAQs

Answers to things you may be wondering before we start working together.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I am currently coaching in person session at The Performance Space, a private training facility in Salford at The Foundry on Ordsall Lane. However I also offer online programming and coaching for those looking to work together remotely.

DO YOU ONLY TRAIN FEMALE CLIENTS?

Definitely not! I have experience training female, male and clients of other gender identities. I pride myself on being inclusive, welcoming and professional to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY irregardless. I coach the person in front of me and treat all with equal respect.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO WORK WITH YOU?

Pricing varies depending on factors, such as weekly session frequency as well as the coaching service you chose to go ahead with. This is discussed within the initial consultation, before agreeing to work together to ensure the service meets your needs/expectations.

HOW LONG DO YOU NORMALLY WORK WITH PEOPLE FOR?

How long is a piece of string? This is hard to answer. We can discuss things like this in the initial consultation as well as outlining your goals, background and what you're looking to get from working with a coach. Ultimately, how long we work together depends on you! Some people will stay longer than others naturally. I've worked with some of my people for years, because they saw so much value in working with a coach.

I generally ask people for a minimum of two month commitment; I want people to give themselves time to work on new actions, settle into new routine and their bodies time to respond. Rather than chasing a quick fix, this is a long term sustainable life change. There is a 30 days cancellation period, whereby the client must give me prior notice before ceasing our working relationship. This will be discussed in person during the consultation call/meeting. Please note, in certain accentuating circumstances, this may be more flexible, but will be judged on a case by case basis.

HOW LONG ARE TRAINING SESSIONS?

All 1-2-1 sessions are booked out for an hour, however the running length of each session may vary slightly.  Some days you will naturally get through a session faster.  If you require shorter sessions, you would still book for the hour slot unless otherwise agreed.

I'M BRAND NEW TO EXERCISE, DO I NEED EXPERIENCE IN A GYM TO WORK WITH YOU?

Absolutely not! I've worked with people with a variety of backgrounds, experience levels and training goals, and am well-versed in creating training programmes to meet my clients where they're at currently.

I'D LOVE TO TRAIN WITH A FRIEND. DO YOU OFFER GROUP SESSIONS?

Yes. You can book a stand alone group session to train with a friend. Or if you're looking for something on a longer term basis, we can chat about this too. This will be done in a consultation process, where I will chat with each person individually, go through a pre-training lifestyle review and then devise individualised programmes suitable to each person within your group! It's more ideal if the groups goals/objectives align, however some variance is fine.

DO YOU OFFER MEAL PLANS?

I don’t offer rigid meal plans— mainly because I don't believe they work in creating lasting self-awareness, food knowledge or self-trust. However, I support my clients with tailored nutrition coaching, to help you build a healthy relationship with food and support your fitness goals. This guidance will take into account your goals, experience, health requirements.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO OUR SESSIONS?

I would recommend a water-bottle and a towel. If you require any medication, mobility assist or supports, please bring these too! Other than that, just yourself & a willingness to learn!

I'M WORRIED ABOUT STARTING...

That's understandable. Change can be daunting, as can meeting someone new. Just know that I'm here to support you, not judge you! I'm on your side and I want whoever comes to work with me to feel comfortable doing so.
